The 2026 TAPPS Art Championships are just days away, bringing student artists from across the state together for two days of competition and display. The event will be held March 23-24, 2026, at The BASE at Extraco in Waco, Texas.

On Monday, March 23, participating schools will display their artwork at The BASE. Throughout the day, students will also take part in on-site events, including On Site Drawing and Seek and Sketch, showcasing their skills in real time before judges and peers.

Competition will continue on Tuesday, March 24, when champions in each category will be announced. Team champions will also be determined, recognizing overall school performance across the various art events.

Schools and students planning to attend should finalize their preparations and ensure all artwork and competition materials are ready for display and judging at The BASE at Extraco. TAPPS encourages all participating programs to review event schedules and guidelines in advance of the championships.
