With baseball and softball seasons advancing to district play, the TAPPS Office reminds all participants and attendees of the TAPPS Noisemaker Policy for all games.
- For all contests, including regular and post season, only small handheld cowbells, small shakers, small clappers, and inflatable thunder sticks are allowed.
- Players and personnel in the dugout are prohibited from using noisemakers of any kind.
- NO other noisemakers are allowed, including but not limited to:
- Any type of horns (including air horns and vuvuzelas)
- Whistles
- Propane tanks or gallon jugs
- Drums or drum-like instruments, or any items that can be used to create percussive noise (including but not limited to sticks, blocks, buckets, pots, or other objects intended to be struck or banged together)
- Officials have the authority to deem any noisemakers a distraction and may disallow their use at any time
