Athletic Directors and Baseball Coaches,

As baseball season gets underway, we want to remind our coaches of the importance of entering all games and scores in TMS. Once again, coaches will also need to report pitch counts for each game, varsity and sub-varsity (see Section 148 of the TAPPS By-Laws). This is a health and safety rule.

Score and pitch count reporting should be a regular part of each program’s in-season routine. Starting this year, pitch count will be recorded and tracked in TMS. There is no need to record it in Scorebird. When entering your score, in the ‘Add Remark’ space, you may enter your pitch count.

You may view any team’s pitch count by clicking on the  🛈  icon above the score. (see below)

If you have not been recording your pitch counts for any games this season, please go into your completed games and add them. You may add past game’s pitch counts by editing the score (click on one team’s score, then add in the Remarks section).

Thank you for your efforts in prioritizing health and safety with your athletes. If questions arise, please contact the TAPPS office at 254-947-9268 or by email at [email protected].
